The analysis of the village survey was sent out to every household in the ward together with some follow-up questions. The results of this second questionnaire can be found by clicking here.
Langstone Community Council distributed a questionnaire to every household in the ward in order to gather data which will help the Council formulate a village plan. The questionnaires were hand delivered and collected and analysed using commercial data analysis software. Click here to see the analysis of responses.
Village Plan 2009
Attached via the link below is a copy of a working draft of a Village Plan for Langstone started by the Council in 2009 but which for various reasons was never completed. The Plan was based on a wide consultation which saw a questionnaire hand delivered to, and collected from, every household in Langstone, Llandevaud and the Old Hamlet of Llanmartin. Because the data was collected in 2007, the working draft that was produced is now out of date and some of the issues highlighted within it are no longer relevant. It is therefore reproduced here as a historical document.
LCC have set up a working party comprising Cllrs Katija Dew, Gerard Hancock and Ted Jeffery to consider a Village Plan for Langstone and make recommendations to the Council with a view to surveying all residents in the near future. If you have any views or comments that would like to make concerning this please feel free to contact the Councillors via the "Contact the Councillors" link on the Home Page
